Children's Ministry
Welcome to Lakeview Bible Children's Ministry! We're excited that you have chosen to bring your children here to learn and grow in God's word and His love. We consider it an awesome privilege and blessing to work with your kids and strive to make it as fun, loving, and safe as possible.
Our Children's Department currently offers Sunday School from 9:30am-10:25am for ages 2 through 5th grade, with a nursery available for infants and toddlers. We are using the "Hand's-on Bible" curriculum from Group Publishing that engages children in all sorts of object lessons and activities that help them learn and apply the Bible to their lives right now.
We also offer a Children's Church during the Sunday morning worship service for children 4 years old - 5th grade. We currently are studying the "Fruits of the Spirit". Each week we examine a specific fruit and see an example of each found in different Bible stories and in the lives of Christians throughout history. The children create parts of the bible story with play-doh, their hands help re-enforce what they are learning.
Our fully staffed nursery is available to all children age 3 and under during the Worship Service.
On Sunday evenings, Sept-May, we offer an AWANA program from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is for ages 3-8th grade and is a fun time of learning more about the Bible and Christians throughout the world, Scriptures, and playing team-building games.
We are still developing the Children's Ministry and are praying for it and your families... we are all a work in progress. But at the heart of all we do is seeing children come to personally knowing the Lord and to have their daily lives changed because of their relationship with Him.
